Govt. of India, Department Of Science and Technology has initiated nationwide INSPIRE AWARD Program to enhance interest towards sciences among the students of classes 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 and to promote the studies of talented students. For the State of U.P., Indian Institute of Information Technology,Allahabad-211012 has been selected the Nodal Agency.

Under this Program, two students would be selected from each school in the State, one from the cluster of classes 6, 7, and 8 and the other from the cluster of classes 9 and 10. They will be paid a sum of Rs. 5,000/- each for preparing a model on any scientific theme and to exhibit the same in an Exhibition at the District Level. Those selected at the district level will present the same model in the State Level Exhibition and those selected at the State Level will in turn, present the same model in the National Exhibition.

Talents selected at the National Level Exhibition will be honoured by the Govt. of India.
